Wimborne Minster is dominated by its magnificent twin-towered minster church, sitting where the Rivers Allen and Stour meet on the edge of the National Trust’s vast Kingston Lacy Estate. Badbury Rings, a spectacular Iron Age hillfort surrounded by ancient avenues of beech trees, lies just a few miles north-west.

A historic minster town with one of the National Trust’s finest estates on its doorstep, Wimborne Minster makes an excellent base for combining grand parkland walking with the Iron Age hillfort landscape of east Dorset.
