🚗LlangollenStart Point

Llangollen is dramatically set in the steep-sided Dee Valley, with the ruined hilltop castle of Dinas Brân dominating the town and the Horseshoe Pass rising to the north. It is one of the most visited towns in Wales, particularly during the International Musical Eisteddfod, and the surrounding walking is spectacular.

A lively, international small town with good accommodation and the famous canal wharf, Llangollen makes a superb walking base for the Berwyn Mountains, the Clwydian Range and the dramatic limestone escarpments of the Eglwyseg Rocks.
