🚗BeaulyStart Point

Beauly is a small, attractive Highland village at the head of the Beauly Firth — its name deriving from the French beau lieu, beautiful place — and it is the gateway to Strathglass and the magnificent Glen Affric, one of Scotland’s finest glens, just fifteen miles to the west.

A quiet, pleasant village with a ruined priory and a good range of local shops, Beauly is a peaceful and underused base for the southern Highland glens — particularly Glen Affric, which many consider the most beautiful glen in Scotland.
