Westerham is a pretty village forever associated with Winston Churchill, whose home Chartwell lies just two miles south, set in classic Weald countryside at the foot of the North Downs. The North Downs Way passes along the ridge above, and Hosey Common offers excellent wooded walking immediately south of the village.

A historic and very attractive village with Churchill’s home as its centrepiece, Westerham makes an excellent base for the North Downs Way and the wooded greensand hills of the Kent-Surrey border.
