🚗ClitheroeStart Point

Clitheroe is the main town of the Ribble Valley and an excellent base for both Pendle Hill and the Forest of Bowland AONB. The town has its own Norman castle and sits amid some of the finest and least-visited walking country in northern England.

A lively, well-served Lancashire market town with good pubs and a direct rail link from Manchester, Clitheroe makes an ideal base for exploring the Ribble Valley, Pendle and the Bowland fells.
