🚗Hebden BridgeStart Point

Hebden Bridge is the most characterful of the South Pennine mill towns — a steep-sided valley settlement surrounded by some of the finest moorland walking in northern England. Stoodley Pike monument and Hardcastle Crags are both within an hour’s walk of the centre.

A lively town with excellent independent cafés, bookshops and a strong walking culture, Hebden Bridge has a direct train from Leeds and Manchester and makes one of the most enjoyable walking bases in the Pennines.
