Blairgowrie is the soft fruit capital of Scotland — a large, practical Perthshire town at the edge of the Grampian Mountains, and the starting point of the Cateran Trail, a 64-mile circular route through the glens and hills of Highland Perthshire.

A busy market town with good shops and direct road access to the eastern Highlands, Blairgowrie makes a very practical base for the Cateran Trail and the hill walking of Strathardle and Glen Shee.
