🚗HaverfordwestStart Point

Haverfordwest is the county town of Pembrokeshire — a castle town on the Western Cleddau with a good range of shops and services, and the most practical hub for exploring the whole of Pembrokeshire by car or bus. The Daugleddau Estuary stretching south provides some beautiful, little-known estuary walking.

A busy county town with excellent services and transport links, Haverfordwest is the most practical base for visiting the whole of Pembrokeshire — close to the Coast Path, the Preselis and the inland countryside, with frequent bus connections to all major Pembrokeshire destinations.
