Carnlough is a pretty harbour village between Glenariff and Larne on the Antrim coast, where the limestone quarrying heritage that built the harbour is still visible. The Ulster Way passes through, Glencloy stretches inland to the moorland above, and the dramatic Cranny Falls waterfall is just a short walk from the village.
A quiet, characterful village with a good harbour pub and easy access to both the coast path and the Antrim Hills, Carnlough makes a peaceful and underused base for the central Antrim coast.
