🚗CrickhowellStart Point

Crickhowell is widely regarded as the finest small town in the Brecon Beacons National Park — a pretty, well-served settlement in the Usk Valley with an ancient bridge, independent shops and the distinctive flat-topped summit of Table Mountain rising directly above the town. The Black Mountains stretch away to the north-east.

A genuinely lovely town with outstanding restaurants and accommodation, Crickhowell hosts an excellent food festival and makes a superb Brecon Beacons base — particularly for the Black Mountains and the Usk Valley corridor.
