Strathpeffer is a beautifully preserved Victorian spa village in Ross-shire, sitting in a sheltered valley at the foot of Ben Wyvis. It makes an excellent and very quiet base for walking in the central Highlands, away from the crowds that gather around the more famous destinations.

An unusually characterful Highland walking village with good accommodation and a pleasant Victorian square, Strathpeffer is ideal for those seeking a quieter Scottish Highlands experience than Aviemore or Fort William provides.
