The Jubilee Trail
An 89-mile walk across Dorset from border to border, from Forde Abbey to Bokerley Dyke, through quiet villages, rolling downs and secret valleys.
The Jubilee Trail was created to celebrate the Ramblers’ Diamond Jubilee and crosses Dorset from border to border. It passes quiet villages, old churches, historic sites and stately homes, with extensive views over the rolling downs and secret valleys.
Linking routes. The trail connects with the South West Coast Path National Trail, the Wessex Ridgeway, Monarch’s Way, the Macmillan Way and the Hardy Way, so it combines well with other long distance walks in the county.
Waymarking and guidebook. The waymark is a tree, arrow and name on a green background. The Dorset Ramblers publish a guidebook, Dorset Jubilee Trail (2020).
