Bridlington is a traditional East Yorkshire seaside resort with two beaches flanking the old town, and Flamborough Head — the dramatic chalk headland with its famous lighthouse — just a few miles north-east. Bempton Cliffs, England’s largest mainland seabird colony, lies between the two, making this one of the finest coastal walking stretches in northern England.
A traditional and well-equipped resort town with both the Yorkshire coast path and the Wolds Way nearby, Bridlington makes an excellent base for the chalk cliffs of Flamborough and Bempton — among the most important seabird sites in Britain.
