🚗St AndrewsStart Point

St Andrews is Scotland’s oldest university town and the home of golf — a magnificent medieval town of cathedral ruins, castle and academic buildings on a promontory above the North Sea. The Fife Coastal Path passes directly through, heading south along a coastline of remarkable beauty through the fishing villages of the East Neuk.

A world-famous and very beautiful small city with outstanding accommodation and restaurants, St Andrews makes one of the finest walking bases in eastern Scotland. The Fife Coastal Path south to Crail is outstanding.
