🚗ComberStart Point

Comber sits at the very head of Strangford Lough, famous for its early potatoes and now connected to Belfast by the popular Comber Greenway, a disused railway line converted to a traffic-free walking and cycling route. Castle Espie Wetland Centre, with its huge collection of wildfowl, is just outside town on the lough shore.

A pleasant market town with the Comber Greenway as an outstanding traffic-free walking and cycling asset, Comber makes an excellent base for easy, flat walking along Strangford Lough’s northern shore and into Belfast.
