Denbigh is a hilltop market town crowned by a ruined castle and medieval town walls, looking out across the Vale of Clwyd to the Clwydian Range. The hill walking above the town is excellent, with Moel y Parc and Moel Llys-y-coed both accessible on foot.

A characterful hilltop town with a ruined castle, an ancient friary and good views, Denbigh is a fine base for the northern Clwydian Range and the quiet Vale of Clwyd walking country between Ruthin and the coast.
