🚗PresteigneStart Point

Presteigne is one of the least-known yet most rewarding small towns in Wales — a Welsh Marches settlement of genuine character on the River Lugg, close to Offa’s Dyke and surrounded by the remote Radnorshire Hills. It was until recently the county town of Radnorshire.

A beautifully preserved small town with an outstanding local museum, good pub and a strong community spirit, Presteigne is a gem for walkers who want genuine remoteness combined with a characterful place to return to.
