🚗SwanseaStart Point

Swansea is Wales’s second city and the gateway to the Gower Peninsula — Britain’s first AONB — with the Gower’s stunning coastline starting at the western edge of the city. Mumbles is just four miles from the city centre, and from there the Coast Path heads west through Langland, Caswell and Pwlldu to the magnificence of Rhossili Bay.

A lively, ambitious city with a transformed waterfront, excellent restaurants and the Gower on the doorstep, Swansea makes one of the most convenient and enjoyable starting points for Gower Peninsula walking in the whole of Wales.
