Southwold is the most elegant small seaside town on the Suffolk coast — a place of beach huts, a working lighthouse and a famous brewery, with the Suffolk Coast Path running both north and south through outstanding coastal scenery. Walberswick, reachable by ferry or a long walk round the estuary, is one of the prettiest villages on the coast.

A beautifully preserved and much-loved seaside town with excellent restaurants, a famous brewery and the Suffolk Coast Path on the doorstep, Southwold is one of the finest coastal walking bases in East Anglia.
