Crossgar is a small village in the heart of the County Down drumlin belt, close to the meandering Quoile River and within easy reach of Inch Abbey — a beautifully sited Cistercian ruin on the Quoile estuary near Downpatrick (familiar to Game of Thrones fans as a filming location).

A small, quiet village handily placed between Belfast and the Lecale Peninsula, Crossgar makes a useful stopping point for those exploring the Quoile estuary and the approach to Downpatrick and Strangford Lough.
