🚗BrodickStart Point

Brodick is the main village and ferry terminal of Arran — Scotland in miniature, as the island is famously known, containing Highland and Lowland landscapes, a whisky distillery, red deer and golden eagles all within a compact and accessible island. Goatfell, the highest peak (874m), rises directly above Brodick.

A busy, well-equipped village with good accommodation, restaurants and the CalMac ferry from Ardrossan, Brodick is the natural base for Arran walking. The island’s combination of Highland-character mountains and lowland coastal walking makes it one of the finest island walking destinations in Scotland.
