🚗WrexhamStart Point

Wrexham is the largest town in North Wales — a lively, rugby-mad town with a magnificent church tower and surprisingly good walking access. Erddig Hall and its country park are just two miles south, and the Clwydian Range AONB and Offa’s Dyke Path are within easy reach to the west.

A large, well-connected town with good rail links to Chester and Shrewsbury, Wrexham is a practical base for the northern Offa’s Dyke, the Clwydian Range and the spectacular limestone escarpments of the Eglwyseg above Llangollen.
