Colwyn Bay is a lively North Wales coastal resort between Llandudno and Rhyl, with the limestone ridge of Bryn Euryn rising immediately inland and the Little Orme headland to the west. The Wales Coast Path passes through, and the Clwydian Range AONB is within easy reach to the south.

A practical and affordable North Wales resort with good rail connections, Colwyn Bay makes a useful coastal base for the combined Great Orme and Clwydian Range walking country of north-east Wales.
