🚗PwllheliStart Point

Pwllheli is the main market town of the Llŷn Peninsula — the long, narrow arm of land stretching south-west from Snowdonia into the Irish Sea that has been called the Land’s End of Wales. The Wales Coast Path circles the entire peninsula, and the walking along the southern coast to Abersoch and Llanbedrog is outstandingly beautiful.

A busy Welsh market town with a good range of shops and accommodation, Pwllheli makes the most practical base for exploring the Llŷn Peninsula on foot, with the coast path and the peninsula’s quiet lanes connecting a chain of beautiful coves and headlands.
