Stockbridge is a single, very long high street straddling the River Test — England’s most famous fly-fishing river — with crystal-clear chalk stream channels running directly beside and under the road. The Test Way passes through, and the impressive Iron Age hillfort of Danebury rises a few miles to the north-west.
