🚗KielderStart Point

Kielder is England’s most remote settlement of any size — a small village at the heart of Europe’s largest working forest, beside England’s largest artificial lake, and one of England’s designated Dark Sky Parks. The walking is expansive, wild and very peaceful.

A genuinely remote walking base suited to those seeking solitude above all else. The forest tracks and moorland ridges offer long days out with almost no other walkers.
