Holt is one of Norfolk’s most attractive market towns — a compact grid of Georgian streets packed with independent shops and delis, sitting just inland from the north Norfolk coast with Sheringham Park and Weybourne cliffs within easy reach.

A genuinely lovely small town with excellent independent shops and cafés, Holt makes a fine North Norfolk base. The North Norfolk Railway (Poppyline) between Holt and Sheringham is one of the best heritage railways in England.
