Bushmills is the home of the world’s oldest licensed whiskey distillery and the nearest village to the Giant’s Causeway — the UNESCO World Heritage Site of extraordinary basalt columns that is Northern Ireland’s most visited attraction. The Causeway Coast Way passes directly through.

A small village with a famous distillery and good access to the Causeway Coast’s best walking, Bushmills is well placed for those who want to explore the World Heritage coastline on foot rather than by car. The narrow-gauge Causeway Railway connects to the Causeway itself.
