Ludlow is widely regarded as the finest medieval market town in England, and its walking setting is superb — Mortimer Forest covers the hills to the west, Titterstone Clee rises massively to the north-east, and Offa’s Dyke Path passes nearby. The Teme and Corve rivers offer gentle valley walks from the town.
A town of exceptional quality — outstanding food, architecture and atmosphere — Ludlow makes a superb walking destination in its own right, with the bonus of some of the finest walking country in the Welsh Marches on the doorstep. The Slow Food movement has its English heartland here.
