🚗MaestegStart Point

Maesteg is a South Wales Valleys town in the Llynfi Valley, surrounded by the open ridge walking that characterises the tops between the valleys. Mynydd y Gaer gives wide views across the Bristol Channel, and the Glamorgan Heritage Coast is accessible to the south via the ridge.

A practical valleys town with good rail connections to Cardiff and Bridgend, Maesteg makes a useful and affordable base for the Llynfi Valley and the ridge walking above, with the Heritage Coast also within reach.
