🚗LamlashStart Point
Lamlash is the largest village on Arran, set in the most sheltered bay on the island with Holy Island — a private Buddhist retreat — sitting just offshore. The Clauchland Hills above the village give outstanding views across to the Ayrshire coast, and the Arran Coastal Way passes through.
A quieter and more residential village than Brodick, Lamlash makes a pleasant and less busy Arran base for those wanting to explore the southern half of the island on foot.
