North Yorkshire is England’s largest county and one of its finest for walking. The limestone scenery, waterfalls and big summits of the Yorkshire Dales — Ingleton, Ingleborough, Malham, Kettlewell and Settle — sit alongside the heather moorland and forest of the North York Moors, the dramatic outline of Roseberry Topping and the Yorkshire coast around Robin Hood’s Bay and Filey. The Coast to Coast Walk, Cleveland Way and Dales Way all pass through the county.
