From the car park at Heatherdene, the walk crosses over the southern bank of Ladybower Reservoir and then via The Springs onto the summit of Win Hill (the most substantial ascent on the walk but with magnificent views) before descending back to the western end of the reservoir passing Wooly Knoll and Hope Cross, along the packhorse trail , over Haggwater Bridge, crossing the A57, and around Crook Hill and back to car park.
