Starting in Winchcombe, the trail leads you through the heart of the town’s historic centre, passing by the impressive St Peter’s Church and the beautiful Winchcombe Park. From there, the trail takes you through rolling farmland and pastures, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
As you continue along the Cotswold Way, you’ll pass through the picturesque village of Gretton, with its pretty cottages and historic church. From there, the trail takes you through woodlands and fields, with occasional glimpses of the Cotswold hills in the distance.
The final stretch of this section takes you through the stunning Cleeve Common, with its panoramic views across the Severn Vale and the Malvern Hills. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to explore the historic Belas Knap long barrow and the beautiful Dowdeswell Reservoir.
