The coastal path walk from Westward Ho! to Bucks Mills and then up to Bucks Cross where there is a bus stop enabling a return to Bideford (but bus services are infrequent so please check timetables carefully). This is a strenuous and sometimes difficult walk with no facilities for purchase of refreshments between the two places.
