Great for dog walks. Starts at the Church in Rippendon, follows the river upstream through the valley to Booth Dean and Rishworth Mill (now apartments) then tracks uphill and back to Rippendon via an old farm track/lane. Great views to be had from the lane. You’ll pass by some gorgeous old weavers houses typical of the area and decend down a fairly rough and narrow snicket with sheep to either side (please keep dogs on lead here). Cross over the old disused ‘Rishworth Branch Line’ (1865-1958) railway line and end up back where you started.
