Loxley Common ~ Bradfield ~ Loxley Valley

Starting from the car park at Rural Lane, Wadsley, Sheffield S6 4BD (Grid Ref: SK 318 909), the walk travels west from the car park across Loxley Common and then farmland to High Bradfield, returning south east by Damflask Reservoir to join the Loxley Valley at Storrs Bridge. The route follows the river valley, much used and abused by the Sheffield steel industry, as far as Wisewood. It then ascends the only significant hill on the route to cross Loxley Common and return to the car park.
