this route gives you quick flavour of Exeter city, there will be lots of information boards around the route. Hopefully it’ll give you a sense of the layer upon layer of subsequent development and history if the cathedral are running their rooftop tours they are well worth a look but I suspect Covid might have put paid to that !Please be careful of traffic there are pedestrian crossings close to all of the places I have recommended.
