Plenty of interest along this route including the remains of a medieval village in the dip just after Hound Tor and a old stone hut presumably dating back to the Hay Tor quarrying days? The route comes within spitting distance of Hay Tor itself and this could easily be added to make the walk a bit longer. For a short period during spring, look out for carpets of bluebells past the clapper bridge on the climb back up towards Greator Rocks
