Walking from Fowey, Cornwall
Fowey is a handsome harbour town on Cornwall’s south coast, where wooded hillsides slide into a deep tidal estuary and fishing boats share the water with ferries and kayaks. It’s a superb base for walking: you can follow the South West Coast Path straight from town, hop a ferry to link riverside footpaths into classic circulars, or strike out to quiet coves and headlands rich in history and wildlife.
